i’m not quite sure where i stand on the giambi signing, and i think i’ll be in the constant throws of glass half-full/half -empty mindset until at least the all-star break. he’s a great deal, but he’s neither young nor hot, which means that my baseball affinity, routed more in looks than skill, is wavering to and fro like the cranberry mold with agar that i made at thanksgiving. sheesh.

also, the a’s have a great season ticket deal going on for those of you who love the club level, free food, fireworks, and a luxury suite! a love of yankees fans not required.
