i’ve gotta give a big shout-out to one of mlblogs newest pro bloggers, andre ethier of the los angeles dodgers. ‘dre will be writing about la-area eateries throughout the year. he doesn’t play for the a’s (although he was drafted by them and traded in 2005 for everyone’s favorite board game maker) nor particularly nosh in the bay area, but the bullpen baker thoroughly approves. plus, the young outfielder isn’t too hard on the eyes. with that, i’ve composed a little trolley-la-dee-la for ‘dre and his posse:

dear andre, the missus, and team,
here are some restaurants that my palette rates supreme.
next time (july 4th-6th) you’re in the city
playing those giants who don’t look that pretty
make sure you spend well your per diem.
