growth sp-kurt

dear billy,

i'm sorry to say that i don't heart kurt suzuki yet. yes, he's young and cute (and it's possible he ate one of my cookies this year which should give him a gold star in my book), but is he really ready for the show? these pangs of worry are all knotted up and ready to duke it out in my stomach. are they a sign of things to come? will the rest of the team be traded faster than garbage pail kids cards were back in the 80s? or are you done whipping a fast one on us here and ready to "settle down" as ray fosse and glen kuiper like to say? here's a thought: we could "borrow" adam melhuse tonight. remember adam, our previous backup catcher? the one we traded away so that jason kendall could "mentor" kurt this WHOLE year? now wasn't that a brilliant idea of yours... but where's adam? i know just where you can find him...

best,
becca

Becca, great letter for Billy Beane. I think this email might be bbeane@oaklandathletics.com. Kendall is on the north side of Chicago, and "borrow" Melhuse is a great idea. Maybe Kurt can be breakout and become a star. If he does, will have a Hawaiian style bake good since Suzuki from tne Aloha State.

LET'S GO OAK-LAND!!!

ALOHA!!
