SuperCuts Promotion: On Sunday, July 27, SuperCuts will give A's fans buzz cuts similar to those of A's players Bobby Crosby, Mark Ellis and Ryan Sweeney. Buzz cuts 11:30 a.m. at the Gate D Kiosk and are limited to the first 100 fans. In addition, each fan that shaves their head will receive a Field Level Outfield ticket to that night's game against Texas.

i love how the above portion of this week's "news and notes" puts a happy spin on bobby's and mark's buzz cuts (ryan's never looks quite as short as the other two). the fact that supercuts wants to make you cringe everytime you brush your hand through your nonexistent hair is borderline cruel. and the blurb doesn't differentiate between buzz cut and shaving your head, which leads me to wonder if you only get a free ticket if you go all homer simpson on your melon. and for what? all for the price of a field level outfield ticket. so if you're a cheapskate with a sadistic urge to lose your locks (and possibly your lunch) all for a chance to see hottie c.j. wilson get a blown save or a loss, or you've got a gaggle of hairy children who keep hiding your gardening shears, this is the promo for you.
